Plants on Page mural by Kim Bennett and Jessica Williams

Located at the intersection of 4th Street and Page Street in West Berkeley, the Plants on Page mural by Kim Bennett and Jessica Williams celebrates the variety of plants that have a special connection to the neighborhood, the region, and the building where the mural is located. For example, the Magnolia imagery alludes to neighborhood trees, the Bay leaves reference the greater Bay Area, and the Hops, Barley and Edelweiss connect to the beer making processes and Austrian heritage of the brewery that operates in this building. The artists imagine this mural as a portal to a neighborhood that is enlivened by the arts and social gatherings in places like this brewery which this neighborhood is becoming known for.
