Jaren Feeley
Moonstruck is a wild concert series currently in its third year, and focused on presenting music, poetry, and art in the urban wilderness of Berkeley. Local musicians and artists are invited to perform in outdoor locations off the beaten path, and asked to perform a song that reflects on the Bay Area as a place they call home. The concert will take place on the Berkeley shoreline, and is accessible via a >2 mile walk or bike ride (each way) along unpaved trails.
Two local acts will debut new works exploring their relationship to the Bay Area: acclaimed local duo The Singer and the Songwriter, and rising Oakland ensemble Kah Liberation. Choreographer Alex Law and composer Jaren Feeley will be doing a second performance of their site-specific work for 14 dancers and musicians, which originally debuted at the previous Moonstruck event in April, 2022.
